Hurricanes in California

This is Hurricane Kate at her best...this only took about 10 seconds....

Well, we had another good doctor's report!
Praise the Lord (as I never take good news for granted!)

For those of you who don't know, my first child came early. The doc is always looking for something abnormal, but all fluid levels are great, she is measuring perfect and I feel wonderful. It was a great report...and for those skeptics out there...it's JUST ONE baby and it is definitely GIRL! hee hee

Savannah has been given me more movement than I can handle at times! She kicks non-stop and so far, her record is 4 hours straight. It's safe to say that she moves more than Kate did (which I never thought this would be possible). She woke me up this morning exercising with her punch bag routine (using my bladder for the punch bag of course). **Warning:the next sentence is graphic.... She hits so hard that my poor bladder has no defense and cannot contain itself...seriously. The doctor and ultrasound tech were laughing yesterday at how much she moved during my exam.

Kate is talking non stop, and we are loving every second. She will be 19 months on Sunday. We can't believe it. Here is a pic of her and daddy at the pool Sunday.

This past weekend was B-U-tiful! We were at the beach for most part. Sunday Michael and I played co-ed beach volleyball with a couple from church. They have 5 kids!! Kate was in heaven, especially because her built in baby-sitter was with us, Jessie.

Congratulations to my sister and new brother in law...

On April 17th at 5pm my younger and only sister got married. It was quite a weekend full of festivities, and the ceremony was beautiful. Today they are off in Jamaica enjoying their newfound life together...

We love you!
Congrats~!

Easter

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single most pivotal event of the Christian faith. If Christ didn't raise to life after dying for us on the cross, our faith is worth nothing. So many times we put so much emphasis on Christmas, and no doubt the birth of our Savior is monumental. Yet, without the resurrection we have no hope. Easter is definitely a special day to celebrate that Christ conquered death and waits for us in Heaven!

We started the day at the sunrise service at the beach. There is something about walking up to a public place and seeing believers gathered from all over (many churches in the area) worshiping their God will their whole heart as the sun rises over the ocean. It's wonderful and a bit heaven-like (though much too cold for heaven!!) Ha ha!

We had an awesome day celebrating what Christ did for us at John and Anita's house. They always remind everyone what the day is about and why we come together. Kate already has been told that the Easter bunny doesn't exist, and actually, she didn't seem very shocked. Hee Hee

We had food fit for a king and stuffed ourselves silly with candy...
!

Kate smelled some flowers and hunted for eggs...

This looks like a pose, but she doesn't quite know how to do this yet, it's actually just an accidental turn and snap!!

This is the greatest Easter I think I've ever had, watching Kate find eggs hidden in the back yard, and yes, I actually gave her the candy inside...she was my best friend after this experience!

More pics to come soon on our other picture website (the bulk goes there).

Happy Easter everyone, and if you don't know Christ as your Savior...you should seriously look into giving your life to Him. The need is there, the need is there, and life will never be the same!
Be Blessed!
